Membership Cards

2008 Membership Envelopes are available to be picked up. Included are membership cards, tax receipt and 2 guest passes. Envelopes have been available since June 26, so please make sure you have picked yours up. Parents check with your children, as if they have been down at the Club, they were probably given the envelope. If no one is at the door, check with Robin in the office for your envelope.

Members are to have their cards with them when they come to the Club, as membership checks at the entrance are taking place daily.

Earn FunRaising Credits working at the door for Membership Checks

15 credits- 1 hr shift/day

35 credits- 2hr shift/day

Schedule is posted weekly in the Breezeway, and sign up for the available shift(s) that works for you.

Duties: Ask people who come to the Club to see their membership cards, or check them off on the membership list. Non-members must have a guest pass with them or purchase a day pass, or they cannot come in. See Robin when you begin your shift if noone in on before you to get membrship list.

Family Dragon Boat Night- Starts tonight( July 7)- 6:30 pm - 8pm

Families are encouraged to come down to the Club and go out in the dragon boat.

There will be two runs- 6:45-7:15pm and 7:30 - 8:00pm.

Be there at 15 minutes before the runs, to get your lifejackets and paddles.

Garbage

Reminder to please pick up your garbage at the CLub on the beach and up the deck.We are getting the larger garbage barrels, but in the meantime, please use the smaller ones that are spread around the Club.

Recycle depot will also be available soon beside the garbage cans, for the cans, bottles and juice pak containers.

Club BBQ- Sunday, July 13, 6:00pm- For members and their Guests

Tickets for the BBQ are on sale now from Robin at the office. You can also call the club ( 464-1694) and reserve your tickets . Reserved tickets are considered purchased.

Steak $12

Chicken $10

Includesd with steak and chicken are salads, and roll/butter.

Hot dog and Pop $3.00

Deadline for the purchase of tickets is Friday, July 11, 12pm., as the order for the steak and chicken must be in on Friday.

This BBQ is being hosted by the Banook Board of Directors

LADIES NIGHT at BANOOK- Tuesday, July 15 at 7:30 pm

Come out and enjoy a fun night with the ladies. Margaritas and Daiquiris are being served.

SPA 2 You will be there for manicures ( $25.00). There will be two different jewelry tables to check out.

Plus much more. Watch for more info on Wed.

$10.00 per person, which includes two tickets for the special drinks. The regular bar will be open for other drinks and beverages.

Ticket will be on sale on Wed. July 9 from the office( Robin). Tickets can be reserved by calling the office( 464-1694).

Orientation Brochure/Newsletter

The Orientation Brochure/Newsletter( BCC SUMMER 2008)-neon green- that was sent home with all the paddlers that came to Orienation Day in their package, is available on the Banook CC website. Please take a few minutes and read over it.It is under the "NEWS" sidebar on the Home page.

New Banook Singlets for Racing

The new singlets have arrived and look great! The cost is $30.00 and are available right now at the office from Robin. We will be setting up a table and selling them in the breezeway starting on Wednesday. Watch for an e-mail for the time.

July 13- Midget and Up Invitaional Regatta( Lake Banook)
